PROBLEM:
Wall displays for kitchen gadgets are installed. The gadgets are permanently glued to
the wood backer boards. This makes them difficult and expensive to change out. Items are discontinued and
customers see them and still want them. Changing one item means changing out the entire board - too expensive
on a regular basis.
Cost of the program: $300,000.00
SOLUTION:
Our design / engineering team came up with a new system that allows changing any one item at a time…the magic
of magnets. The panels are changed to steel with a façade of vinyl perfectly matching the existing white maple
store interior. All 22,000 gadgets are individually magnetized to go on the wood-appearing steel panels. Gadgets
and magnetized identification plaques and descriptions are completely moveable allowing changing of one or all
items at any time.
Cost of The Graphic Source's solution: $ 250,000.00
By comparison to the prior system, every 3 years the new program saves over $350,000.00
